Hair being tossed in different directions, sand hitting my bare legs, I can barely move forward with strong winds blowing. A different warm welcome indeed, to the Bangui Wind farm. A site not to be missed when travelling up north.
The windmills were overwhelming.
They were really huge as in gigantic up close. It felt like they will suck or rip you in shreds. Scary yet amazing. Haha. These windmills help supply electricity to Ilocos Norte.

When headed to Ilocos, don't forget to include this as a sidetrip. The playground of the gods, the wind gods perhaps. The windmills of the gods. Tip, wear sunglasses to protect the eyes from the grains of sand being blown away (a mini sandstorm) hehe. :)
